Wow! Haven't been on Xanga for a very long time!!!

Well I'm finally 18 now (well yesterday)!!! 18 seems to be like a special age, everyone wants to be 18. It is the age when you turn from 'a child into a responsible adult'. For the first few hours of being 18, i wasso happy and estatic that i was finally 18...but after that few hours it wa like 'now what?....i'm 18 so what?'   i don 't feel any different from being 17 or 16....its just the number of my age has changed....the only thing good about being 18 is that i could vote among other things as well.  Being 18 makes u feel a lot older as well...instead of being half way to 34, i'm now half way to 36. But other than that being 18 feels goooddd... 18 years of my life has passed, i just wanna Thank God for takng care of me through that time, through high and lows He has always been there to comfort and take care of me even though i sometimes had forgotten back about Him and turn my back on Him, He has always turned me back to Him. 

Had a Careers convention tonite at skl!!

it was quite interesting...particularly the accounting, investment banking and legal section. Thinking of going into accounting now!

Best part was , got a lot of freebies!!! Got a large string bag and water bottle from RBS, and 2 pens, one from PWC and one from Deloitte plus the usual pamphlets.   

My First AS module Exam today!!!!

Had my first and only exam of the January exam period!!! And it was Physics: Forces and Motion!!

Wasn't as hard as i expected it to be...

 BACK FROM LA!!!

First Day Back at School!!! = (...so tired fell asleep in most of my lessons!! Onli got back from LA yesterday so i think im a lil bit jet lagged!!

Had a great time in LA with my family who live there!!! Got there on Christmas day so we had Christmas dinner...American style!!! The portions were massive!!! Mainly went shopping at Malls for most of the time and brought loadsa stuff...i think my suitcase doubled in weight durin this trip! On Fri29th Dec went to Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard and my cousin locked the keys in the car, so we had to wait for my aunt to come and bring the spare key, then we went to watch a NBA game with my cousins and family...the LA Clippers VS Sacremento Kings at the Staples Center! Had realli gd seats and it was a gd game! LA Clippers won!!! Woohoo!! i actualli lyk LA lakers better but their tickets were expensive!!! around $300 for the same kinda tickets we got at $100 for the Clippers! Went to visit my Uncle in Tempe, Arizona the nxt day for new yrs with my cousin, her dad, my sis and my dad. The journey took around 6 hrs by Car! Luckily we took the BMW 5 series so it was a more comfortable journey!! On New Years day made some Lemonade and some orange juice cos my uncle has a 3-in-1 tree of Lemons, Oranges and Grapefruit.  Last Wed, went to Santa Monica Beach...it was so nice and on thurs went to San Diego!

Miss LA so Much...the nice, warm weather, the beach, the large LCD HD tvs which everyone has and the large cars and the nice, large portions of food...although the chinese food aint as nice as the ones in England!

Had a long and busy saturday...especially with the carol service! Had to arrive at church at 12...which i was nearly on time, but not many ppl were there for the rehearsal until 2ish. THe carol sevice didnt start until 6.30 and ended at 8ish. it was pretty gd, especially enjoyed the english acapello group! shame the tpf sketch got cut out of it though...oh well! and i didnt hav dinner until around 10! i was soo hungry!!!

Going to the House of Commons tomorrow!!!!! for a Young Engineers Reception!?!?....Wat has engineering got to do with politics?!?!? y can't they put this reception thing in a more suitable and accessible place...like the institute of physics (whereva that is)?!? but it'll be pretty fun...get to ask the engineers some questions and go into the house of commons!
